How many pictures will I get?

Depending on the package chosen, image quantities may vary.
The Classic Package includes 32 professionally retouched images.

Do you retouch the photos?

Yes, all the pictures you receive after the photosession will be edited.
Please check the galleries to see the level of retouching of the images — I do my best to enhance natural beauty of people, and respectfully do not change the shape/size/features dramatically.

What if the weather is bad?

Don’t worry too much about the forecast. Weather that seems “bad” at first glance often creates some of the most beautiful photographs. Fog, dramatic clouds, or a light rain can add atmosphere and make your images feel even more special.

If you’re concerned about the weather, just send me a message. We’ll review the forecast together and decide whether it makes sense to keep the session as planned, adjust the location, or reschedule for another day.

What should we wear for the session?

I provide styling guidance for every session and can help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel natural to you.

Do you help with posing?

Absolutely. Most of my clients have never been professionally photographed before, and that’s completely okay.

My goal is not to create stiff or overly posed images (unless that’s something you’ve specifically requested). Instead, I focus on helping you feel comfortable and present in the moment. A maternity session should feel more like a relaxed walk with your partner, and a family session should feel like quality time spent together rather than a series of posed photographs.

Throughout the session, I’ll gently guide you when needed — but in a way that feels natural and effortless. Most of the time, you’ll simply be talking, walking, playing, cuddling, or enjoying each other’s company while I document those moments.

Many clients tell me afterward that the experience felt much easier, more relaxed, and more enjoyable than they expected.

Can we bring our dog?

Of course! I completely understand that pets are part of the family, and they’re always welcome to join your session when the location allows it.

If you’d like to include your dog (or another pet), please let me know in advance. This helps us choose a pet-friendly location and avoid places with too many distractions, crowds, or restrictions that could make the experience stressful for your furry family member.

I specialize in outdoor photoshoots and have extensive experience choosing the best location for each session based on its goals, the time of year, and the time of day. The Bay Area area can vary significantly in terms of weather, light, and landscape throughout the seasons. Over the past several years of working here, I’ve learned how to precisely select the right location and timing to help us achieve the best possible results. My **Standard Family Package is $800** and includes a private online gallery with **32 individually professionally retouched images** from your session. The package also includes personalized guidance on styling and recommendations for the best locations based on your family, preferences, and the season. It offers excellent value for a highly personalized photography experience and professional-level retouching. A professionally printed photo album is also available as an optional addition. I keep the markup on albums very low so my clients can receive a premium-quality product at an attractive price. The production cost alone for albums of this quality—with professional printing and an elegant silk cover—is close to $300. For this reason, ordering an album together with a photography session offers particularly good value. My Family Story Experience is something truly special for families who are looking for more than an annual family session or a milestone maternity photoshoot. It is a thoughtfully curated experience for those who want their gallery to feel like a complete story — not simply a collection of beautiful portraits, but an honest reflection of their family, their connection, and the season of life they are in. I usually begin the session at home, creating lifestyle, cinematic images in the space where so much of your real family life happens. This gives us the opportunity to slow down, get to know each other, and focus on the little things that are genuinely meaningful to your family — the way your children interact with you, their favorite corners of the house, familiar routines, gestures, and moments of connection that might otherwise go unnoticed. From there, we transition to a carefully selected outdoor location for golden hour. I choose the location and timing intentionally, based on the season, the light, and the visual design of the final gallery. Outdoors, we have the freedom to create a much more editorial and cinematic set of images while still keeping the strongest emphasis on your family’s connection and natural interaction. This experience works especially well for families with children because we are not trying to fit everything into a short session. We have enough time for the kids to warm up, for me to understand your family dynamic more deeply, and for genuine moments to unfold naturally. I’m not simply a brief observer taking a few portraits — by the end of the experience, I have had the chance to see and document much more of what makes your family yours. The session itself often extends beyond the stated shooting time, as the transfer between your home and the outdoor location is not included in your photography time. In reality, the entire experience can feel like spending almost half a day together — which gives us an incredible amount of variety and depth in the final gallery. This is why families often tell me that the Family Story Experience feels like so much more than a traditional photoshoot. What they receive is a true cross-section of their life at this particular moment — a visual essence of their relationships, their home, their children, and the connection they share. And ultimately, that story doesn’t live only in a digital gallery: it becomes a tangible family legacy through the album created afterward.
